Here I go again, almost 2 and half years since my last post. Some things have changed but I am still working at Mencap but on  reduced contract of 10 hours. Not that you would know as I did 20 last week. Mom is still with us but needing more help now, has more appointments which is one of the reasons for the reduced contract. The other big reason is that I was working lots of weekends and didn't see much of Les.

Talking of Les he had an accident last September when we were on Holiday in Egypt and fell on his shoulder. That resulted in him being off work for 6 months and having an operation. He is back at work for the moment but don't think he will be able to do it in the long term., Not sure what will happen.

I still make cards and do my cross stitch, have to have some way to relax.

How have two years gone past since I last put anything on here? Far from blogging more I've done less but will try to post more often. I am still working with learning disability which I enjoy most of the time.
This is me meeting with my penfriend Kay while we were on holiday in September in Norfolk. We have been writing to each other for 19 years through good times and bad, but had never met before. We got on so well as did our husbands and it was a pleasure to meet her.

Our lovely grandchildren enjoyed opening their presents but didn't know what to play with first. I managed to get through the day with out being photograped at all.

I can't believe that it was October the last time I posted on here. We have been on holiday twice since then once to Tunisia and once to Turkey.

First picture of the nine of us that went to Turkey back in March, we had fun. Second picture of us taken in Tunisia last November. I'm glad to say that it was before the uprising that happened there. Don't think that I would want to go now
